Our intimate platform allows for meaningful connections, deeper learning opportunities, and a clear sense of how to take action. Over 2 days global experts share best practices, challenges and successes through a highly engaging format.
Globally, fashion industry stakeholders are engaging in one of the fastest and most progressive plans to change a system that is broken on so many levels. With this lightning speed progression comes an industry-wide increase in awareness of the need and imperative to engage in more sustainable and regenerative business practices. Yet, in some cases this shift has made it challenging for those who are just embarking on their sustainability journey. With so many solutions, tools and resources, and without a clear strategy or direction, it can create an overwhelming sense of confusion as to how and where to begin.
WEAR aims to remove that barrier by providing the most relevant, up-to-date content, through our many engaging sessions and in a format that allows for deeper participation and collaboration. Since 2014, WEAR has succeeded in bringing together diverse perspectives from across the entire fashion system. Our intimate format allows for meaningful connections and breakthrough learning that lead to a clear path to action.
Our theme for 2019 is Purpose Meets Progress, which is a celebration of the incredible efforts and advancements coming from every corner of the industry. We know perfection doesn’t exist, and that as long as we have a purpose and are making progress, we can collectively turn things around before it’s too late.
New this year, we are launching a one-of-a-kind Global Sustainable Fashion Resource Directory – free for all WEAR attendees. This web-based platform will feature hundreds of resources – reports, case studies, guidelines, tools, standards and more, all organized in a user-friendly, easy to access dashboard. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements to come.
