Priya is the Program Manager of the Environment and Climate Change division at
CSA Group. Priya has 15 years of experience in consensus building, stakeholder
engagement, energy and environmental policy, and the application and implementation of environmental legislation and standards. Her current portfolio includes Circular Economy, Climate Resilience, Embodied Carbon, and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Priya has a keen interest in addressing the challenges to circularity from a standards lens and is supporting issues such as circularity for plastics and recycling; and the implementation of Canada’s transition to a low-carbon economy. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo, a diploma in Environmental Assessment from the University of Waterloo, and a Masters in Sustainable Energy and Engineering Policy from Carleton University.
