FGI 2020 Visionary Award Recipient and two-time Bata Shoe Museum Inductee, George Sully is no stranger to the Canadian fashion world. You may know him as the co-founder of Sully Wong, House of Hayla, Sully & Son Co., maker of the Starfleet Boot for CBS’s flagship juggernaut STAR TREK Discovery, and as of late, the creator of Black Designers of Canada, the first ever comprehensive online index of Canadian black designers. Sully is also known to give back to the community first as a TFI mentor, then, to both the students of St. Clements Independent school for Girls and Central Toronto Academy 6ixess Program.
