The Transition to Science Based Targets for Water

Breakout

Conventional corporate water targets have largely focussed on internal efficiencies and global withdrawal reductions. However, given the context-specific nature of water, such targets may not lead to sustainable water use. Targets that address quantity and quality and reflect local basin or watershed characteristics are likely to drive more sustainable water use. As corporates transition to context- and science- based targets for water, this breakout session will explore the challenges and needs for widespread adoption.

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION FOR THIS BREAKOUT IS ONLY AVAILABLE THROUGH THE PREVIOUS PANEL “BEYOND CARBON”.
