Michael D. Grodinsky is a partner in the Montreal office of Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. He practices exclusively as a management-side attorney in the area of labour and employment law.
Michael’s practice encompasses all aspects of labour, employment, human rights and privacy law and he is regularly involved in employment litigation, collective bargaining and grievance arbitration.
He has appeared before various provincial and federal courts and tribunals in Canada and is able to defend the interests of his clients in both English and French. He frequently assists US-based employers operating in Canada, including with defending against human rights claims and resolving international mobility issues for employees entering Canada and Canadian workers transferring abroad. Michael has assisted numerous clothing retailers, suppliers and distributors in the fashion industry with workforce issues, corporate social responsibility concerns and other human rights-related issues.
Michael is a graduate of Queens University (in Ontario) and Université Laval (in Québec), as well as the University of British Columbia.
